EASTENDERS fans were gobsmacked to spot a legendary star working behind the counter of an East London café.
Jessie Wallace has played fan favourite Kat Slater on and off since 2000.

The actress, 53, paid a visit to the iconic E Pellicci cafe in Bethnal Green – and recreated one of her most iconic lines.
Back in 2001, the BBC soap revealed Kat was her “sister” Zoe’s (Michelle Ryan) biological mother.
The women were in a heated argument over Zoe wanting to leave Walford for Spain.
A furious Zoe reminded her supposed older sister that she wasn’t in control over her life.
Storming off, the younger woman yelled: “You ain’t my mother!”
To which Kat immediately and emotionally replied: “Yes, I am!”
Taking to Instagram, E Pellici shared a short video of Jessie’s visit to the cafe.
She recreated the “classic soap scene “You ain’t my mother!” scene with customers – as well as a member of staff.
Another moment showed Jessie helping out behind the cafe’s counter.
The establishment captioned: “When our GORGEOUS and super lovely friend @jessie.wallace_official performs one of the most iconic lines ever @bbceastenders in a packed cafe.”
