EASTENDERS viewers called out a HUGE Cindy Beale blunder in last night’s episode – but did you see it?
The iconic character – played by Michelle Collins – was struck over the head by a mystery assailant on Christmas Day and is currently in hospital.
She had been in coma since, until viewers saw Cindy start to regain consciousness in last night’s episode.
Taking to social media, observant fans pointed out what appeared to be a significant oversight.
One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Cindy still in a coma after being bonked on the head with a shovel whereas super Suki flew of a building and is back on her feet in less than a week.”
Another agreed: “Mental when you think about it. Get a grip Cindy.”
A third chimed in: “Gotta love soaps for their realistic storylines.”
While a fourth person remarked: “My thoughts exactly.”
The attack on Cindy came after her long-standing affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) was finally exposed.
Several suspects emerged – including Cindy’s own children, her husband-to-be, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) and ex husband George (Colin Salmon).
Others in the frame include Junior, Ian’s mother Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and George’s wife Elaine (Harriet Peacock)
EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw previously teased when the tantalising answer would be revealed.

As the commenters alluded to, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) recently found herself in a life-threatening situation.
Her villainous ex-husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) carried out his sick revenge plan on Suki’s wedding day to Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
Laving both women fighting for their lives, Nish took revenge on Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and placed her in hospital.
The Walford baddie faced his own battle to live, but while the women all survived, he ultimately succumbed to death.
