EAMONN Holmes has revealed a huge new career gig after he went missing from his breakfast show – and his theatre tour was scrapped.
The former This Morning anchor – who is in the midst of a divorce from former co-star Ruth Langsford, 65 – sparked concern when he disappeared from his Breakfast slot on GB News on Tuesday.

Eamonn, 65, is usually seen co-hosting alongside Ellie Costello, but was noticeably absent.
Instead the new GB News host fronted the episode solo.
It was another confusing move after fans learned Eamonn’s theatre show had been scrapped.
Yet perhaps the Belfast-born star has been taking some time away to focus on his fresh project, which he has now been showcased in a first-look video on his Instagram page.
The clip previewed his podcast Things We Like with Eamonn & Paul Coyte, with the duo seen giggling as they had a brew on the sofa.
Eamonn, wearing a blue jumper, said: “The world can be a depressing place and we are moving away from that,” before Paul interjected: “Like bandstands.”
Eamonn continued: “And we are going to talk to famous people about the things they like, we are going to talk to Ray Winstone, to David Jason …
“You wouldn’t believe the types of people who are going to tell us what they like.”
In a Instagram caption to accompany the witty clip, the pair wrote: “We’re thrilled to announce our brand-new podcast: Things We Like with Eamonn & Paul!
“This is something you won’t want to miss. Each episode brings something unique – whether we’re reminiscing about our favourite childhood memories, chatting about the music, films, TV shows, food and sporting events we love, or diving into interesting things in everyday life.

Fans were quick to react, as one put: “I’d watch!”
Another added: “Good luck guys,” as a third wrote: “What a line up….. cannot wait for this.”
One then put: “Looking forward to this lads.”
CURTAINS DOWN
Last week, poor ticket sales were initially blamed for the scrapping of Eamonn’s An Audience With-type theatre show.
However, The Sun has been told how there were instead issues with the gig venue.
A source revealed: “There was a disagreement with the venue about last-minute logistics, which meant it was impossible for it to run.
“Eamonn pulled the plug on that particular show, but he knows there will be plenty of other opportunities in the future. Eamonn is just cracking on with his new project and throwing himself into it.
“Over the past couple of months, Eamonn has been recording episodes with some massive stars for a brand new podcast.
“It’s really conversational – heartfelt, emotional conversations with different names with someone for everyone.
“Eamonn’s used to always having more than one job on the go, but it’s usually been with Ruth.
“This is going to be a the perfect way to turn a page on a new chapter.”
Meanwhile, Eamonn’s fans were stunned when his split from ex wife Ruth was revealed last May.
The couple called it quits after 14 years of marriage.
They are yet to finalise their divorce.
