TWO people have died following a horror car crash which has also left two others seriously injured.
The fatal two-vehicle crash took place near the A12 in Chelmsford, Essex, at around 3am on Sunday.


The driver of one of the cars, a man in his 30s, and a passenger in the other car, in his 50s, died at the scene.
The collision took place on B1007 Stock Road, by junction 16 of the A12 and involved a blue BMW 3 series.
The victim’s families have been informed and are now being supported by specialist officers.
Two other men were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
They are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road is still closed while officers carry out vital investigations.
Pictures showed both wrecked cars with one sat in the middle of a roundabout with debris strewn across the street.
The BMW was also found smashed up a few metres away on a grassy field nearby.
Essex Police said: “We would ask the public to avoid the area while we continue with this work at the scene.
“As we piece together what led to this tragic incident we particularly want to hear from anyone who may have seen a blue BMW 3 series car in the early hours of 23 March.”
Inspector James Freeman added: “Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the two people who died today.
“We are working hard to establish what led up to this collision and would urge anyone with information to contact us.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us as soon as possible.”
