FILMED in 2023, a new documentary follows Katie Price and her partner at the time, Carl Woods, as they undergo fertility treatment.
The former couple are at the centre of Channel 4’s latest documentary series, Katie Price: Making Babies, which follows her and ex-fiance Carl as they hope to grow their family.
Despite the couple trying for a baby in the documentary, months later they broke up, but in episode two they experienced a heartbreaking moment together.
Sitting on the sofa together after Katie urinated in a cup, the then-couple can be seen in a tense moment as the former glamour model carries out a pregnancy test.
While waiting for the result to show up, Carl and Katie look nervous as she leans back and he keeps watch of the test.
“Oh no, it says not pregnant,” Carl reveals a moment later.
Katie licks her lips, closes her eyes and appears to choke back tears before Carl says he wants to carry out another test “just in case”.
“Oh, this is the line one, I like this one more anyway,” Carl says of the second test in a bid to lighten the mood.
He then told Katie: “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with doing a second one.”
“Show me it,” Katie then says.
“Not even a faint one on that one,” Carl adds, sounding sad.
DEVASTATING MOMENT
Katie is then overcome with emotion as she puts her head in her hands as Carl says: “How do you feel about that?”

“Oh see, I don’t understand,” Katie added.
The couple then called the nurse, Carol, who told them to take a step back from the process.
The IVF treatment followed a turbulent period in which Carl discovered Katie had cheated on him with former international polo star Jamie Morrison.
CARL AND KATIE BREAK UP
Katie and Carl’s relationship breakdown is documented in the new documentary series.
When their relationship came to an end in the series, Carl said: “Sometimes loving somebody is just not enough.”
Katie then said: “We’ve gone through all this IVF, we’ve had a failed IVF, and then he can just drop me like that. [clicks] Just drop me like that.
“Don’t care about my feelings. Don’t care about the fact that in my head I thought we were having a donor egg going in me.
“For him to now decide, Nah, I’m just gonna block her.”
Carl then tells the camera: “It’s the hardest decision of my life to make, like to tap out on it. She will just think that I’m out of order. ‘He’s left me when we were having a child’.
“It’s not about that at all. What it is about, it is about having a stability in my life. Kids need a stable home, and there’s no sign of it changing. I don’t have the fight left in me. I’ve fought for three years.”
Katie goes on to say: “It’s so crap that I still have to take these IVF tablets, because they said I couldn’t stop it last week, because if I do, it will mess my periods up, and I might not come on for months. But yeah, I’m not with Carl.”
Katie is now loved up with her current beau JJ Slater, 31, who shot to fame on E4’s Married At First Sight.
The stunning star is a doting mother to five children – her son Harvey who she shared with ex Dwight Yorke; Princess and Junior from her marriage to ex Peter Andre; and Jett and Bunny whom she welcomed with former partner Kieran Hayler.
