THIS is a perfect example of how unsaid expectations breed resentment.

You feel humiliated and hurt by Laura’s lack of commitment, but didn’t explain you wanted to become exclusive.

Once you have had some time to reflect, and consider that she didn’t cheat on you, it would be worth having the commitment conversation.

You both like each other, so perhaps it is time to take the next step.

Next time you are worried about your relationship, rather than jumping to the worst conclusion, talk to him.
