DANNY Jones’ ‘drunken kiss’ with Maura Higgins was a “slap in the face” for his wife Georgia, according to reports.
The McFly star, 38, and Love Island legend Maura, 34, appeared to kiss in a quiet corner of a Brit Awards after-party last weekend.
At the time, model and social media star Georgia, 38, was at home with son Cooper, seven.
A source told the Mirror that the smooch was a “slap in the face for Georgia” after she tearfully supported him just months ago while he was on I’m A Celebrity.
The insider said: “When he was in the jungle, she broke down in tears, saying her emotions had ‘come to a head’ as she juggled a house move, solo parenting and work.
“She’s been an incredible partner to him so this feels very unfair but Georgia is a strong woman, she won’t let it ruin what they have.”
We revealed how Danny and Georgia held crunch talks after the headline-making incident and are said to be keen to move on from the situation.
A source said: “This saga has been embarrassing and Danny had a lot of explaining to do.”
The Sun told on Monday how McFly guitarist Danny and Maura, 34, appeared to have a “brief drunken kiss” at Universal Music’s Brits after-party.
Danny and Georgia have been away from their London home since the story broke.
A pal added: “Danny and Georgia have been together for a long time and have spoken about that night.
“They are keen to just move past it and get on with their lives.
