A DIY enthusiast has revealed that she gave her council house kitchen a total transformation, all whilst on a budget.

Morg Campbell, a DIY fan from the UK, explained that she wanted to make her council house kitchen more homely.
As a result, she used bargain buys from Temu and Amazon to create the ultimate “council country kitchen”.
Keen to show off a before and after look at her pad, Morg took to social media to share her impressive overhaul, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, alongside snaps of her kitchen, which is now incredibly trendy and chic, Morg penned: “I have been decorating my ‘council kitchen’ as when we moved in it really needed some TLC.”
Morg revealed that the “cupboards didn’t match, cupboard doors had been hot glue gunned on and it just wasn’t very homely.”
She continued: “I’m obsessed with country kitchens so this was my spin on it!”
Not only did Morg give the space an upgrade thanks to a lick of paint and some vinyl wrap, but she also used purse-friendly stick-on tiles too.
She then added: “Definitely not perfect but ok for on a budget! Let me know what you think.”
Morg later confirmed that she used Hessian Rust-Oleum kitchen cupboard paint, which you can buy from B&Q, Dunelm and Robert Dyas, to transform her cupboards.
Not only this, but rather than breaking the bank on posh shelves, Morg made her own ‘scaffolding shelves’ herself, saving herself loads of cash.

When it came to transforming her kitchen worktops, she used DC Fix vinyl wrap, which you can buy at a variety of places, including Amazon, B&Q, The Range and Very.
Not only this, but thanks to stick-on tiles from Temu, which you can nab for just £2.35, Morg was able to totally transform her space.
As well as this, in another attempt to keep costs low, the bargain hunter also nabbed her chopping board from Poundland.

Social media users were stunned by Morg’s DIY job and many flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.
Not only did people describe it as ‘beautiful’, but one woman claimed it was ‘one of the nicest makeovers’ she had ‘ever seen’.
