CORONATION Street fans think they have worked out Max Turner’s exit after actor Paddy Bever announced he had quit the soap.
The actor has played Max for four years in a series of high profile storylines after taking over the role from child star Harry McDermott.

He announced his upcoming exit in a statement saying: “After much reflection and in an incredibly difficult decision, I have chosen to step away from Max, and Coronation Street, to explore new opportunities.
“I have been surrounded by such kindness and support every step of the way.
“It’s been a great privilege to contribute to the legacy of such a well-loved and iconic show.
“This chapter has been unforgettable and while I look forward to what lies ahead, I will treasure these memories.”
The actor has already finished filming having told bosses last year that he intended to lave.
A source added to the Mirror: “He finished filming at the end of 2024 and will exit as part of a huge upcoming storyline for the Platt family.
“Everyone at Corrie loves Paddy and we wish him every success for the future.”
The Sun exclusively revealed how bosses had filmed a dramatic house fire for the Platts late last year.
And now fans are convinced Max will die in the fire – burning alive in a horrifying exit.
One wrote: “So Max is leaving #corrie… Do we think he is going to die in the house fire? Then Lauren and Betsy could bond over their dead (ex) boyfriends.”
A second said: “I think we might see him being killed off.”
Another added: “The Platt house burns down, photos online already so likely dies.”
Other recent announced Corrie exits include Sue Cleaver, Sue Devaney, Shelley King and Colson Smith.
