CORONATION Street’s Lisa Swain has made a dark confession about daughter Betsy after she was shot.
The police detective – who is played by actress Vicky Meyers in the ITV soap – fought to free girlfriend Carla Connor from her brother Rob Donovan this week.

Rob had taken Carla hostage with Tracy Barlow with Lisa being dragged into it.
She tried to wrestle the from Rob the minute she got a chance but in the struggle the gun went off, firing out of the back window.
It hit Betsy in the shoulder and she was rushed to hospital as armed police swooped in to arrest Rob.
But in the hospital doctors made Lisa aware that the bullet had damaged the nerves in Betsy’s arm.
And later she realised she couldn’t feel her arm – and faced life-changing injuries.
Lisa then made a dark confession to girlfriend Carla about what happened.
Carla told her: “Come on Lisa, you have got to think positively. I’m sure Besty’s going to be just fine.”
“No she won’t,” replied Lisa.
“I can just feel it – bullet by the nerve, so long in surgery. She’s my little girl. i was meant to protect her.
“I’ve seen this thing a thousand times, people get shot or stabbed. They’ve never the same after. And it’s all my fault.”
Carla told her: “It’s not your fault, it’s certainly not your fault. it’s Rob’s fault.”
But Lisa said: “He didn’t fire the gun. I did. It was my finger that pulled the trigger. I shot my own daughter.”
Will Lisa confess all to the police or will Rob be able to use it to his advantage?
