CORONATION Street is bringing back a dead character as part of a harrowing mental health storyline – four years on from their tragic exit.
It follows on from the aftermath of Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) shocking murder in scenes aired this week.
Abi Webster (Sally Carman) found Mason bleeding out after he was stabbed by his criminal brothers.
Despite her best efforts, Mason ultimately passed away from his injuries.
In scenes yet to air, Abi remains deeply affected by Mason’s death, unable to shake off the grief.
She experiences visions of her late son Seb (Harry Visinoni), who also died in a violent attack.
In 2021, Seb became the victim of a gang led by villain Corey Brent (Maximus Evans).
Speaking to Inside Soap, Sally Carman confirmed Harry Visinoni reprised his role for emotional scenes.
She said: “Harry returned to film it, and basically, Abi sees Seb as if he’s just been attacked.
“It’s so very sad but there are also some beautiful moments that are really moving, they broke my heart.”
A source said: “Harry was back on set for a few days which was really lovely for everyone.
“It’s the beginning of a really big mental health story for Abi.

In upcoming scenes, Abi is still haunted by visions of Seb – tearfully speaking to her son in the memorial garden.
She seeks solace in the café with Roy (David Neilson), confiding in him about her flashbacks and hearing Seb’s voice.
Roy listens and gently encourages her to open up to Kevin about her struggles.
Will Abi be able to overcome her grief?
