COMIC Relief fans are convinced a host is secretly ‘engaged’ after spotting a ring.
Comedian Tom Allen is among the hosting line-up for this year’s telethon.
Having spotted a ring on Tom’s finger, an eagle-eyed viewer theorised whether he is secretly “engaged”.
They penned on X: “Is that an engagement ring I spotted on @tomallencomedy?
“Congratulations if true. Alfie seems such a lovely man. #comicrelief”
The ring began featuring in Tom’s Instagram posts sometime after last summer.
The Sun have reached out to Tom’s representatives.
Meanwhile, the comedian is in a relationship with presenter and performer Alfie Garston.
According to his LinkedIn, Alfie has worked for The Walt Disney Company in Paris, Tokyo and London.

Meanwhile, the couple have shared loving snaps with each other on Instagram.
It comes as the comedian has previously addressed his relationship status over the years.

He explained further to The Guardian: “I, for one, have never been in love and so I feel, ‘Oh, that’s something else I can’t join in with’.
“Because I’ve found it impossible to have a meaningful long-term relationship.”
