KRISTINA “Krissy” Hawkes is the wife of The One and Only singer Chesney Hawkes.
Her famous husband entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2025 and immediately made waves amongst the castmates.
A whirlwind romance
Chesney and Krissy first met when he was just 22 and she was only 20 years old.
They crossed paths in a pub where one of Chesney’s friends was performing.
Chesney told The Guardian in 2022: “It was crazy that they were there and not, say, in the West End, but I walked up to one and asked if I could buy her a drink and she said: “I’ll have a pint of lager, please.” I was like: “Oh my God! Will you marry me?”
He continued: ‘She had no idea who I was when we met and she keeps me on a level emotionally.
‘Also financially, because, when we met, I was very much in a hole. Then she came along. Her father was a banker and she is very, very good with money. So she was like: ‘OK, let’s restructure you here.’
Eventually Krissy and Chesney decided to get married and tied the knot on July 4, 1997, which was two years after they first met.
Chesney and Krissy’s marital secrets
Almost three decades after marrying, Chesney and Krissy are still enjoying marital bliss.
Chesney has said that this is because they both spend time away from each other when working.
He said: “Spending time away from each other. It’s true that absence makes the heart grow fonder.
“But there are many other secrets.

The pair have three children together named Casey, Jesse and Indi with whom they previously lived between LA and the UK.
In 2024, they decided to move to Chesney’s own home county of Surrey full time.
Celebrity Big Brother
Chesney entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on April 7, 2025, alongside JoJo Siwa and Patsy Palmer.
The singer made waves immediately upon entering, when he shushed Ella Rae Wise during the opening episode.
Chesney made a shocking confession in that same episode when he revealed that he was a nudist.
Upon hearing the news, Will Best quipped: “Well, you are the Wang and Only.”
He is the second lowest paid cast member, taking home just £25,000.
JoJo Siwa took home £400,000, while Trisha Goddard took home £200,000.
The lowest paid castmember was Chesney’s rival Ella, though her fee has not yet been revealed.
