CELEBRITY Big Brother bosses have ‘blown the budget’ ahead of tonight’s series launch after signing up a top British comedian to kick things off in style.
It’s already shaping up to be one of the best series of Celebrity Big Brother ever, with huge names like Mickey Rourke and Patsy Palmer gearing up to enter the house.

But show bosses were keen to make sure even spin-off show Late and Live returned with a bang and paid a huge fee for Alan Carr to appear, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
An insider said: “Alan Carr is the first guest on Late And Live tonight, they wanted to blow the budget and get a really good name on.
“He’d be a dream CBB signing but they’ll have to make do with him being on the spin off show for now!”
A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother declined to comment when approached by The Sun.
Also preparing to call the brand new CBB house home for the next few weeks are Corrie’s Jack P Shepherd, chat show queen Trisha Goddard and Love Island star-turned-presenter Chris Hughes.
Joining them are nineties pop star Chesney Hawkes, presenter Angellica Bell and Tory politician Michael Fabricant.
Olympic athlete Daley Thompson, American singer JoJo Siwa, and comedian Donna Preston.
As well as an incredible line-up of famous faces, viewers could be in for a classic reality TV love story.
The Sun revealed this week Big Brother bosses are hoping for another iconic series romance.
Previous series had fans gripped as they watched couples like Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton and Chanelle Hayes and Ziggy Lichman fall in love.
