CELEBRITY Big Brother fans have praised Danny Beard for standing up to Mickey Rourke – as he protected Chris Hughes.
The drag performer, 32, is currently appearing in the latest series of the ITV reality show.
Viewers praised Danny for diffusing a confrontation between the Hollywood legend and Love Island alum.
One wrote on X: “Danny trying to diffuse that situation, he’s my winner.”
Another penned: “Danny trying to stop a fight between Mickey and Chris.”
A third shared: “Everyone else standing there whilst Danny Beard tried to stop Mickey punching Chris.”
Mickey and Chris butted heads during a pirate-themed task – which saw JoJo Siwa appointed as Captain.
Chris, 32, stepped out away from the line-up of housemates and looked at Mickey.
However, the 72-year-old confronted him, saying: “You looking at me? Don’t eyeball me.”
This prompted Chris to then respond: “Mickey it was a joke, f*****g…”
But Mickey replied: “Don’t f***ing eyeball me. You c***.”
At this point, Danny intervened by telling Mickey: “He was joking. He was joking. He was joking.”

Again, Danny insisted Chris had been joking while he and Daley Thompson stood between the pair.
Big Brother then called for Mickey to immediately come to the diary room.

After Big Brother repeated the summon for Mickey, the actor made his way to the Diary Room.
He was kicked out of the house – having been warned previously about his behaviour.

Following his conversation with Big Brother, Mickey returned to the task area and apologised to Chris.
Chris told the other housemates: “Mickey’s just Mickey, you know what I mean?”
A spokesman for the reality show said: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.
