BRITAIN’S Got Talent has been embroiled in a massive shake up as the final show moves from its usual Saturday night slot.
For the first time in years, one episode of the long-running variety talent competition will not be shown in its usual scheduled place.

After the auditions come to a close on Britain’s Got Talent, ITV viewers can usually look forward to the semi final rounds.
These live shows whittle down the best acts in the competition as viewers get to vote for their favourite performances.
It is also a time for Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon to stun on stage as they are known for their daring looks.
Some of the racy and revealing ensembles have previously sparked complaints to TV watchdog, Ofcom.
However, viewers will have to wait as one edition has been shunted from its usual day.
According to SuperTV, most of the live shows will air every week as planned on the Saturday.
However, the fourth semi-final will be moved to the next day as they are scheduled for Sunday 18th May.
According to the outlet’s account on X – formerly known as Twitter – this has been done to avoid the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
It posted: “While #BritainsGotTalent will now air its live shows weekly, the 4th Semi Final will move from Saturday 17th to Sunday 18th May in order to avoid the Grand Final of #Eurovision.”
This comes hot off the heels of another shakeup where bosses decided to add even more golden buzzers to the show.

It will be the first time in BGT that the four celebrity judges and hosts, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnely, will be able to use the coveted gong during the live shows.

“That act will be granted a one-way ticket to the Final, along with one other act from that night who will be voted in by the public.”

Britain’s Got Talent continues on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
