BGT looks set to face competition from another Saturday night favourite this weekend.
The ITV talent contest kicked off its latest series last month and with two episodes under its belt, it could be rocked by some unexpected competition from a BBC rival.

As a result of a schedule shake-up, BGT will be up against primetime favourite, Gladitors.
As a result of the BBC’s coverage of the Six Nations rugby tournament, the two programmes will go head-to-head for the first time.
Gladiators usually airs in an earlier teatime slot around the 5:30pm mark but will be delayed for the rugby this Saturday.
It means it will began airing at 7pm – the exact same time as Britain’s Got Talent.
Simon Cowell will be praying he comes out on top in the ratings wars despite Gladiators’ runaway success.
The schedule shake-up has left some TV fans fuming however with many of them already venting their fury at the shows being screened at the same time.
One fan moaned online: “Blame the rugby!”
Whilst another let their feelings be known by sharing an angry and sad face emoji.
It comes after fans were left raging that the show ought to ditch the golden buzzer from the programme after fearing it had become “pointless“.
When it was first introduced, the special buzzer allowed the judges, and hosts Ant and Dec, to send an act straight through to the semi finals.

In recent years, the rules have been relaxed somewhat and there have been multiple uses of the buzzer, increasing the number of auditionees who are sent straight through to the live shows.

Another responded: “Because there seems to be no limit on them now either, they’ve become pointless.”

A third said: “It only becomes a moment if it is exceptional. when they don’t keep it to the one per judge/presenter, it completely loses its impact.”
The latest act to get the buzzer was supermarket worker Stacey Leadbetter, 29, whose incredible voice impressed new judge KSI.
