B&M is one of the UK’s biggest high street chains with hundreds of shops across the country.
However, the retailer will be operating under reduced hours over the Easter 2025 period so its hard working employees can enjoy some time off.
B&M’s Easter opening hours
Like many other high street shops, B&M will remain open on Good Friday.
Easter in 2025 falls much later than it has in previous years, meaning that Good Friday is on April 18.
The store will stay open on April 19 before putting the shutters down on Easter Sunday (April 20).
B&M will then resume its regular opening hours on April 21.
The store has made headlines in 2025 after several of its products went viral online.
B&M announced on April 1, 2025, that it would begin stocking the raspberry smash flavour Mars bar which sent fans into a frenzy.
The chocolate bar’s jaw-droppingly low cost of just £1 meant it was a smash hit on Facebook.
B&M also began stocking Dulux Weathershield paint which can give your front door a fresh look for just £6.

B&M’s story
B&M was founded by Malcolm Billington and Brian Mayman in 1978.
The pair launched their company in Cleveleys, before it was bought out in 1996.

Chocolate lovers can also pick up the rare strawberry smash flavour of Mars bar.
B&M’s range of homeware includes beauty mirrors and hot water bottles at bargain prices, as well as Dulux paint for doing DIY at home.
The company was acquired by Phildrew Investments in 2004 and went on to see significant growth in the succeeding years.
By 2014, the chain had opened its 400th store and, by 2018, it acquired the French discount retailer Babou.
Babou stores were soon replaced by B&M shops.
The brand tightened its grip on the high street in 2023 when it acquired 51 Wilko stores from the administrator for £13 million.
2025 bank holidays
There are still five bank holidays for every country in the UK to look forward to after Easter 2025.
However, Scotland has one additional bank holiday compared to England.
Northern Ireland has the most bank holidays, though, as it also celebrates the Battle of the Boyne.

Supermarkets including Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and M&S will all be closing on Easter Sunday but will run limited hours on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Petrol stations will also adjust their hours, as will high street staples including Next and Primark.
Eateries like Greggs and homeware stores including B&M and Home Bargains will also change their opening times over Easter.
