In a Reddit post, the unnamed user explained the series of events that led to both her romantic break-up and the end of her friendship.
She explained that she had been dating her former partner for four years.
According to her, they “got serious enough where we starting planning for our future.”
“I thought we were pretty happy, but last year he dumped me pretty suddenly,” she said.

The Redditor went to stay with her best friend and her fiancé, describing them as her “rocks.”

At this time, her friend had asked her to be her maid-of-honour, which she said was a “no-brainer.”
However, the morning of the wedding, the groom asked her to meet him for an early breakfast.
He informed her that the bride had admitted to having an affair with her boyfriend.
