AMERICANS will hate Meghan Markle’s new show cooking fancy food with her A-list mates as they struggle, an expert has blasted.

Netflix released a trailer for With Love, Meghan in which the Suits star will share tips on cooking, gardening, crafting, flower arranging and hosting.

Guests will include celebrated chef Alice Waters, actress Mindy Kaling and close friend Abigail Spencer, one of Meghan’s former co-stars.

Prince Harry also appears briefly in the trailer for the eight-episode series.

“I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote on Instagram.

She added: “Beyond grateful for the support – and fun!”

But royal expert Hugo Vickers has claimed the new show will not resonate with Brits or Americans.

He told The Sun: “The sort of food that she’s producing is not going to appeal to a lot of people who can’t afford to buy that sort of thing.

“I mean a lot of people are suffering. This is a time of hardship generally and I’m sure in America likewise.

“And so I don’t really quite know what we’re going to make of a star in a white dress, and not even wearing an apron, putting together all this stuff.

“And to what end? I don’t know. Really.”

Rising prices have been a key concern for Americans in recent years.

The majority of Americans feel worse off than they did four years ago, according to several polls.

The past three years in the UK have also been dominated by the cost of living crisis.

The Sun has approached the Sussexes’ representatives and Netflix for comment.

There will be eight 33 minute episodes featuring a host of Meg’s various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet “elevated”, food.

Fellow Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, who played Dana Scott on the hit show, made an appearance in the trailer.

Producer, actress and comedian Mindy Kaling could even be seen saying this was “one of the most glamorous moments” of her life.

A montage of various clips in the nearly two minute video showed Meghan walking through vegetable patches and fields.

She was also filmed browsing through beautiful flowers for table arrangements.

The Duchess even tried her hand at beekeeping, fully suited up, as she collected honey.

In the new trailer, Meghan shared: “I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it.

“Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them. I’m going to share some little tips and tricks.

“I see what colour I gravitate to, and everything goes from there. And how you incorporate these practices every day.

“This is about connecting with friends.. I love that we’re doing this together for the first time. Making new friends.. and just learning.

“We’re not in the pursuit of perfection. We’re in the pursuit of joy. I have to get it totally wrong, to get it totally right.”

The trailer showcased many “candid” moments, from Meghan accidentally squeezing some lemon juice in her eye, to knocking freshly baked goodies off a plate.

Prince Harry featured at the end of the video, embracing his wife in a warm hug.

The pair laughed as they sipped some mimosas.

The show description reads: “This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.

“She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.

“Guests include Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters, with additional acclaimed chefs and special friends.”
