A MAN has sparked fury after clearing the shelves of toys on the cheap to then flog them on Amazon for profit.

The man, only known as @indemandfba, took to TikTok to share how he allegedly made more than an eye-watering £100 in just one hour thanks to his side hustle.

A shelf full of board games.
The Amazon reseller visited all TK Maxx stores in his area to snap up the viral board game on the cheap
Shopping cart filled with Monopoly and Cluedo board games.
According to the man, he then managed to resell them online for £6 profit each – and allegedly make over £100 in just one hour

According to the savvy shopper, who claimed to have raked in six figures thanks to the reselling strategy, fellow cash-strapped Brits can head to their local TK Maxx to scan for profitable items.

During his trip to the mega retailer, the Amazon reseller, from Bournemouth, stumbled across popular board games that were going for £25.

”We already know these are gonna bang over Christmas,” said the money-smart customer who had filmed the clip during the festive season.

”Scanning at £25, reselling at £45 – that’s £6 profit per unit after fees.

”You know what we do – we fill the trolley and take these straight to the till.”

According to the shopper, although his trolley was full to the brim with the Monopoly game, he didn’t stop there.

After paying for the numerous boxes he had snapped up at the first location, the Amazon reseller said he then headed ”to every store” in his area to clear the shelves there as well.

Luckily for the man, who claimed that ”this is all legit”, he ”hit jackpot” at the other branches too, ending the day with piles of Monopoly Vintage Bookshelf Edition Game.

”Some of you may not like what I do. But if you’re telling me you wouldn’t walk into three shops and make nearly £300 of profit, you are a liar.”

However, whilst we may have made an extra £300 in practically no time, the response on TikTok wasn’t so positive.

Hundreds of people, including parents, flocked to comments to slam the reseller, with one person saying he shouldn’t clear the stock fully.

”I’m all for this but don’t like the idea of someone buying all of them from every TK Maxx around you. You should take 80% in each shop.”

Another agreed, writing: ”I’m all for reselling genuinely but taking that many off the shelf is a bit OTT [over the top].

”I went to 3 TK Maxx stores last week to find those board games and none of them had them.”

However, there was also plenty of support, as one fan of the money-making scheme said: ”That’s an easy way to make a few quid buddy! There’s a lot of jealousy in the comments tho!

”Some people just cant deal with others basically getting free money!”

Hitting back at the critics, the man, who said he understood the fury, asked: ”But if you saw £20 lying on the street and there wasn’t anyone in sight, how hard would it be to not pick it up?

”You should have seen everything else I picked up along the way,” he chuckled in the comments.
