ALDI is launching a car product in stores this week that could save you £100s.

The German retailer is, as ever, shaking up the Specialbuys section of its branches from Thursday, January 30.

And shoppers can pick up a dent repair kit for just £6.99.

The kit straightens out bodywork and can be used to repair minor dents and bumps on flat and curved panels.

According to Checkatrade, the average cost of repairing car dents is £335, so you could be saving yourself £328 buying the kit.

Aldi is also launching a host of other products ideal for petrol heads on Thursday, including a car organiser with multiple compartments for £7.99.

Shoppers can also pick up a jump starter power bank for £29.99, tyre puncture sealant for £2.99 and an anti-theft car key pouch for £3.99.

You’ll have to be quick though as Aldi Specialbuys are limited edition and once they’ve sold out no more stock is added to shelves.

You won’t be able to find them online either after Aldi ditched its home delivery service in 2023.

Remember, you can find your nearest Aldi branch by using the retailer’s store locator tool on its website.

As ever, with any deal, make sure you shop around before buying the latest Aldi Specialbuys as you might find them cheaper elsewhere.

You can use websites like Trolley and Price Spy that let you compare prices on thousands of products.

You can have a quick scan of the internet using the Google Shopping/Product tab as well.

It comes after Aldi unveiled its Valentine’s Day deal, with the cheapest deals starting at just £2.99 per person.

The budget supermarket’s date night option includes heart-shaped pizzas topped with either spicy pepperoni or semi-dried tomatoes and mozzarella, a heart-shaped garlic bread and pink mini heart-shaped pancakes.

It has also launched a premium meal deal menu for £3.74 a person, featuring tempura prawns, sriracha, heart-shaped pasta with lobster and cheesecakes slices.

The menu is also available with vegan options.

And both premium and cheaper menus offer the option to add a bottle of Prosecco for just £4.75.

How to save money at Aldi

You can save money by buying dupes from the retailer that look or taste similar to the real thing but for a fraction of the price.

It’s worth keeping an eye out for Aldi’s red stickers on items too.

Staff add these to products coming close to their best before date or with slightly damaged packaging which have been reduced in price.

The stickers can catch some shoppers out as most supermarket chains add yellow stickers to reduced items.

Meanwhile, Tom Church said it’s worth shopping at the German discounter at 10am on a Wednesday.

This is when staff restock their regular items and you’ll have the best selection of products to choose from.
