AN AGE gap couple have confidently clapped back at haters who judge their unique relationship.
28-year-old Jackie met 70-year-old Dave when she was just 21, when he visited her home country of The Philippines on a holiday.
They matched on a dating site while he was staying near her area and agreed to meet at a local Starbucks.
While Dave admitted he was “impressed” by Jackie, he joked that she didn’t look at his online profile before agreeing to meet.
However, the pair insisted that their 46-year age gap is not an issue in their relationship.
A few months after their first date, Dave returned to The Philippines and popped the question, and the pair married in February 2018.
Shortly after, Jackie moved to the US to live with her new husband and now, seven years later, the pair are happier than ever.
But despite their long relationship and happy marriage, the couple are constantly met with a barrage of abuse from mean trolls for their dramatic difference in age.
The content creator couple are often slammed, with many assuming that grey-haired Dave must be a billionaire.
Not only this, but keyboard warriors also think Jackie is with him for a green card, and call her a glorified nurse and a golddigger.
In a new clip shared online just hours ago, the couple got candid on how they met, leaving many open-mouthed.
Dave explained: “A question Jackie and I are often asked is ‘when did you meet?’, and the answer to that question is – we first met in the Philippines in October of 2016, which means we have now known each other for more than eight years.

But the couple clearly weren’t phased by their large age gap, as Dave continued: “The age difference didn’t matter and here we are now.

But social media users were left totally divided by the short TikTok clip, which was shared on the couple’s joint account – @dave_jackie2818.
Whilst some accused Jackie of being a ‘golddigger’, others wished the pair well and praised their relationship.
