A CONTESTANT on The 1% Club has correctly answered ‘the hardest question ever’ and walked away with the jackpot prize.
The ITV game show, that’s hosted by comedian Lee Mack, has become a huge hit since launching in 2022.

It sees 100 contestants compete for a £100,000 prize pot by answering 15 logic-inspired questions that get progressively harder.
It kicks off with a question which 90 per cent of the population polled got right.
It then goes on to ask questions which smaller and smaller percentages of the country got right, culminating with a 1% question.
Since The 1% Club‘s debut the programme has been adapted in other countries, such as Australia.
And fans down under have been left gobsmacked after a contestant walked away with $100,000 (£50k) after cracking one of the ‘hardest questions.
Viewers watched as Michael attempted to guess the last question of the competition in just 30 seconds.
The Aussie was asked: “If January equals 717, March equals 5315 and June equals 4624, then what does August equal?”
In nail-biting scenes the clock ticked down to zero as Michael changed his answer before time ran out.

Fans also flooded social media with comments, as one wrote: “That was seriously an impressive answer! He nailed it like a true champion!”
A second said: “I’m impressed, I was stumped.”
“Wow amazing that he got that, very clever,” said a third fan praising Michael.
The answer is 6848 is because August has six letters and it’s the eight month of the year – if you multiply both numbers together you get 48.
January is 717, March is 5315 and for June it’s 4624.
