MANY beauty fans may be aware of the trend of going to Turkey to get their teeth done, as it costs a fraction of the price compared to the UK or other countries.

In fact, the hashtag ‘TurkeyTeeth’ regularly trends on TikTok, with many people flying out to Turkey to get a new set of veneers.

However, many experts warn against going to Turkey due to differing laws and regulations, which in some cases may be unsafe.

It is always advised to do thorough research before travelling to a foreign country for a cosmetic procedure.

But one TikToker has discovered another country, which she claims offers a completely painless experience.

Mattie Rebecca, who is known as @remybaby420 on TikTok, revealed that she had a “life-changing” experience after travelling to Colombia for a new set of teeth.

Mattie, from the US, shared a video showing her teeth before and after, and since uploading it six days ago, the video has gone viral with 6.1 million views.

Before getting her veneers done, Mattie shared a video showing what her teeth looked like as they fell out of her mouth, while counting down the days until her trip to Colombia.

The final two clips showed Mattie having her bottom teeth fitted, followed by her top teeth, before doing a final reveal.

In the caption of the video, Mattie described how the procedure changed her life, while also giving a “big shoutout” to her dentist.

Her video gained over 2,800 comments, as people rushed to ask questions and share their thoughts.

One person wrote: “13 root canals!!!! Sis, okay I need costs, prices and recommendations please.”

Mattie explained that it cost her $8k (£6k) for everything – which included her hotel and dental treatment.

Another added: “Girl, whatever you spent was worth it, they look great!”

In another video, Mattie also revealed that the treatment was “totally painless” – even during recovery.

She explained that despite still having her stitches, she was able to eat hard foods like gherkins without experiencing any pain.

However, Mattie was targeted by some trolls who commented on the colour of her teeth.

One wrote: “Too white but the shape is great! I’ll never understand why people go so far on the whiteness though.”

A second added: “As a dental assistant it kills my soul a little every time someone gets that fake looking paper white.

“I literally try to talk people out of it lol.”

But Mattie hit back by replying: “You try to talk people out of it because of your own personal preference? That’s super weird.”
