Not only is it beginner-friendly, but it’ll also mean your home is left brush mark free too.

According to this content creator, all you’ll need is a card for this ‘cutting in hack’

So if your pad could do with some TLC and you’re looking for tips and tricks that’ll save you time and effort, then fear not, we’ve got you covered.

Thanks to this handy hack, you’ll ensure you get a close and neat paint line at the edge of your walls.

And all you’ll need to do is use a card – yes, you heard that correctly.

It can be whatever card of your choice, whether that’s a credit card, a loyalty card, or maybe even a Nando’s card.

The paint trick was shared on social media by a user who shares DIY content under the username ‘Jewell Home’.

Not only has it been hailed as “genius”, but many are claiming they are now going to paint their whole home

The content creator shared their “cutting in hack” and rather than use a fine paintbrush in an attempt to get a straight line at the edge of walls, this user used a small card.

In a matter of seconds, the DIY fan, who has 34,900 followers on TikTok, was able to easily paint the edge of their wall, using just a card and a beautiful beige paint.

Not only was it quick and easy, but there were no brush marks or mess left, saving you time on cleaning. 

The DIY enthusiast, who lives in Cardiff, claimed that thanks to this painting hack, it will “make life easier.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @jewellhome, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 222,000 views in just 15 hours.

Not only this, but it’s also amassed 4,557 likes, 69 comments, 1,398 saves and 1,961 shares.

Social media users were open-mouthed by the handy hack and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this. 

One person said: “Stop! This is genius! And I’m mad that I’m seeing this AFTER spending all weekend decorating.”
