THE Simpsons fans have been left stunned as the show’s iconic twins Patty and Selma Bouvier have undergone a shock ‘Ozempic transformation’ on the show.
The long-running animated sitcom has taken a look at the weight-loss jab which has taken the world by storm with both Patty and Selma ditching a tonne of weight by using a jab.
They aren’t the only ones who will be sporting a slimmed down appearance in the latest episode of the programme as Comic Book Guy, famed for wearing a T-shirt too small for his bulging belly, will also show off a new look thanks to the weight-loss apparatus.
In an episode aired last night, entitled The Last Man Expanding, fans saw how all three characters had managed to ditch the fat.
As the new craze hit Springfield, the characters were all left attempting to lose the pounds through their version of the drug, called “Othinquic”.
It left chain-smoking sisters Patty and Selma looking unrecognisable as they were left as thing as their other sister, Marge.
But despite already being petite herself, Marge was also left tempted to use the Ozempic-style drug after seeing how many of her neighbours, and family members, had transformed their bodies as a result.
One of the biggest transformations was the hugely overweight Comic Book Guy who looked unrecognisable after devouring “family-sized Othinquic”.
But some fans have been left unhappy by the decision for The Simpsons to go down the weight-loss route – particularly with Patty and Selma.
Writing online, one fan posted on X: “Can’t believe what Ozempic is doing to our beautiful queens.”
Another insisted: “They were already perfect.”
As a third shared: “I’m surprised Patty and Selma went in for it too…”

New episodes of The Simpsons stream exclusively on Disney+ in the UK after leaving Channel 4 in a shock move for the first time in 20 years in January.

However, terrestrial television will still get some Simpsons episodes, albeit a few series behind.
In January, E4 became the only home of the show on linear TV with episodes from season 32 airing on the channel.
These episodes will then be made available to stream on Channel 4’s online platform for a very limited time shortly after airing before being ultimately retained exclusively by Disney+.
