The words “GAZA IS NOT FOR SALE” were sprayed across the lawn, and the golf course’s holes were dug up during the alleged incident on March 8.

Cops said a 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with the alleged incident.

A 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman previously arrested as part of the investigation have since been released pending further enquiries.

In a post on his Truth Social account on Sunday, Mr Trump said: “I was just informed by Prime Minister Starmer of the United Kingdom, that they caught the terrorists who attacked the beautiful Turnberry, in Scotland.

“They did serious damage, and will hopefully be treated harshly.”

Mr Trump claimed “three people who did this are in prison”, adding: “You cannot let things like this attack happen, and I greatly appreciate the work of Prime Minister Starmer, and UK Law Enforcement.”

The alleged attack came weeks after the American leader shared online an AI-generated video of ‘Trump Gaza’ featuring Dubai-style skyscrapers, a huge golden statue of him and a Trump Tower.

Trump Turnberry branded the alleged attacks “childish” at the time.

A spokesman added: “Turnberry is a national treasure and will continue to be the number one beacon of luxury and excellence in the world of golf.”

We told at the time how detectives were transported around the course on golf buggies and were seen scouring fairways and greens for clues.

Uniformed cops stood guard at vantage points around the perimeter of the 800-acre resort and marked vans were parked at its entrances.

Workers were spotted trying to hose down paint from the front of the clubhouse, where scaffolding was erected in the wake of the carnage. Staff were seen making efforts to get the club back up and running.

Bits of dislodged turf could be seen on the tees and greens.

A 33-year-old man appeared in court today charged over the vandalism to Trump Turnberry.

Kieran Robson appeared in private at Ayr Sheriff Court charged with malicious mischief.

He made no plea and was released on bail.

Police Scotland said enquiries are ongoing.
