LIDL shoppers have just hours left to snag a deal on jumbo Easter eggs for less than £3.

For the past week, the budget retailer has been offering a staggering deal on popular Easter treats.

Since March 16, Lidl Plus users have been able to get egg-cellent prices on large branded Easter eggs including Cadburys.

But the deal runs out today so shoppers must be quick if they want to grab their own for just £2.45.

Even shoppers who have already made the most of the deal can benefit from it as many times as they like until it ends later today.

Large versions of Easter egg classics including Smarties, Malteasers, Rolo, Munchies, and Galaxy are all part of the deal.

While non-Lidl members have to pay £3.45, card holders can get them all for £2.45 each.

The discount is also valid for the retailer’s own Easter eggs from the Favorina and Deluxe brands.

Meanwhile, the Lidl is offering all shoppers staggering prices with other Easter eggs on offer from just £1.45 – and these prices are set until Easter.

For £1.45, shoppers can get the Cadbury Buttons Egg, Cadbury Freddo Egg, or the White Button’s Egg.

Another Easter bargain also has shoppers rushing to their local Lidl to bag a chocolate treat for just 89p.

Shoppers have fallen in love with a limited-edition bakery item perfect for Easter.

The retailer has launched the Mini Egg Brownie – a chocolate brownie topped with smashed Mini Eggs.

While on offer for just 89p, some Lidl Plus holders may be able to get the treat for free if they have a bakery coupon.

Shoppers have shared their excitement for this fun new drop, in a Facebook post.

One person said: “We need to see if these are as good as just the regular ones!!”

Another fan said: “I’ve got to go to Lidl immediately.”

But it is not only Lidl that is offering major Easter deals.

Morrisons has been flooded with shoppers rushing to get a cracking deal also on large Easter eggs.

Shoppers who have a More Card can get three large eggs for just £9.

The offer means Morrisons is beating Aldi, which is charging £3.45 for some of the same size choccy treats this weekend.

Aldi is charging £3.45 for some of the same eggs, including Yorkie and Smarties. Meanwhile, Iceland is undercutting Morrisons with a 2 for £5 deal, working out at just £2.50 per egg.

But the Lidl deal that expires in a matter of hours is still the best at just £2.45.

Meanwhile, The Sun has revealed the best supermarket Easter Egg in a massive taste test – the winner is not Lidl, Aldi, or Tesco.
