THE Apprentice fans were left in shock by a dramatic DOUBLE axing twist.

This week’s episode of BBC show saw its two teams create their very own hot sauce.

Upon their return to Lord Sugar, the candidates found themselves in rare territory.

Declaring neither team had won, Lord Sugar brought back members of each into the final boardroom.

Team Parallel saw Amber-Rose Badrudin, Melica Moshiri and Dean Franklin face Lord Sugar.

While Team Ascendancy’s Emma Street, Anisa Khan and Mia Collins were also brought back.

Lord Sugar declared: “One of each team will be fired, at least.”

First to go was 32-year-old Tech recruitment company owner Melica.

Making his decision, the businessman said: “I’m not going to beat around the bush here.

“Melica, I’m sorry, but I can’t ignore the fact you’ve admitted you’ve been a bit disruptive.

“So on that basis, Melica, you’re fired.”

Also bowing out was 23-year-old Corporate project manager Emma.

Lord Sugar told her: “Emma, I’ve said this before to you. I have not seen much from you in the past eight weeks.

“So with regret Emma, you’re fired.”

Ascendancy had flaws including confusion over the name, as well as an advert not including the sauce.

Their rivals Parallel created a spicy sauce, but their flavour, branding and advert weren’t up to scratch.

Earlier, Lord Sugar gave a scathing assessment to all the remaining candidates.

He said: “We’re at the eighth week. I’ve got to tell you, to be honest with you, not one of you is shining through to me that has any essence of marketing.

“I am absolutely fuming. Two separate teams come up with the biggest load of garbage I’ve ever seen.

“It was like less Tabasco and more a b****y fiasco.”

The Apprentice continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
