One cash-savvy woman has left people with their jaws on the floor after sharing how she did up her dull bathroom on the cheap, using purse-friendly B&Q and Dunelm bargains.
Naomi Davidson took to Facebook, where she shared the breakdown of costs for her epic bathroom makeover – and also gave others some major inspiration.
Before transforming the loo, Naomi’s bathroom was rather plain, featuring cream walls, a small sink and basic wooden flooring.
However, with the help of affordable items from popular retailers she managed to give it a totally brand new look – and the web users are going wild.
As well as painting the walls in a lush dark green colour – which cost her just £38 at B&Q – Naomi also added the trendy panelling detail on the sides.
The DIY fan, who paid £23 for 9mm 8×4 sheets and had them cut into 2-inch strips, added that the ”local timber merchants will be around the same” – and they will also ”cut it for you”.
To attach the strips to the walls, the savvy Facebook user didn’t use any nails and instead revealed that a £3.50 glue from B&Q worked just fine.
The fabulous flooring, which boasted a stunning geometrical print, set her back just £50, she said in the post.
Naomi went on: ”Coving was most expensive but I felt it was worth the money at £55 at B&Q, corners come ready made.”
To make the loo look even better, the DIY fan also added gorgeous beige wallpaper with a bird design – this cost her £20 per roll.
She said: ”And I treated myself to the hooks for towels and toilet roll holder from Dunelm.

Since being posted online, the transformation has taken Facebook by storm, racking up close to 950 likes in just one day.
More than 180 people flooded to comments to praise Naomi, with one writing: ”It may have ‘been done on the cheap’ but looks expensive, it all looks wonderful.
”I like the touches with the robe, towel, loo roll holders.”
Another chimed in: ”That brilliant and fab idea painting wall before panels go up!”
Someone else was lost for words, writing: ”It is absolutely beautiful. You should be so proud of yourself. Just gorgeous!”
