Our mystery punter stuck £10 on games in Holland, Portugal, Italy and France at colossal odds of 2,990/1.

The customer predicted that PSV would beat Waalwijk 3-0 and that Porto would see off AVS 2-0.

They also opted for Torino to beat Empoli 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino and that Monaco would triumph 2-0 on the road against Angers.

As the clock ticked into the 77th minute at the Stade Raymond Kopa, the bet looked destined to be a near-miss.

However, Mika Biereth’s composed finish gave Monaco the lead before Maghnes Akliouche’s penalty two minutes from time handed the customer £29,900.

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “Four countries. Four correct scores.

“This is some bet!

“Congratulations to our customer, who may or may not be plotting a celebratory four-stop multi-city break that starts in Eindhoven and ends in Monaco!”
