GEORDIE royalty descended on London to see Newcastle United beat Liverpool in the League Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.
Among their number were legendary TV personalities Ant and Dec, the Newcastle-born hosts of Saturday Night Takeaway and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’

TV cameras picked out the pair sitting in a plush hospitality box, as they watched the Magpies beat Liverpool 2-1 in their first major trophy for 70 years.
But there was one key detail in Ant’s outfit that fans picked up on.
He had donned a black-and-white scarf emblazoned with the face of Newcastle assistant manager Jason Tindall.
Tindall has become something of a cult hero for Newcastle fans.
Memes about Tindall‘s knack for getting on camera began to circulate last season.
Eddie Howe‘s assistant was often seen taking centre stage in the dugout – even being the first to shake hands with opposition managers at full time.
Fans were quick to comment on Ant’s choice of scarf.
One wrote on X: “Ant & Dec wearing a scarf with Jason Tindall’s face on was not on by bingo card for today. Love it.”
Newcastle partnered with shirt sponsor Sela to provide a scarf to every Geordie making the trip to London for the match.
