A CHARITY shop chain will be selling leftover Aldi middle aisle items in its stores.
The Salvation Army is stocking Aldi Specialbuys as part of a new two-year partnership with the supermarket.

Any leftover stock that Aldi hasn’t managed to sell will be given to The Salvation Army to sell in its charity shops.
The profits will then go towards the charity’s work to support vulnerable people and provide services for the homeless, elderly and struggling families.
Items usually sold as part of Aldi’s Specialbuys include kitchen accessories, home furnishings, garden products and clothing.
They’re usually found in Aldi’s ever-popular middle aisle.
You may have already spotted the Aldi products in Salvation Army shops thanks to a one-year trial partnership that has been taking place.
However, the companies have confirmed they are beginning a two-year-long partnership starting now.
Luke Emery, Aldi’s national sustainability director, said: “We’re committed to doing all that we can to support our local communities and it’s great to be able to support The Salvation Army stock their stores.
“We know the profits raised will provide vital funds for the charity to continue its ongoing work to support those who need it most across the country.”
Meanwhile The Salvation Army said the partnership would help provide a “vital funding source” for the charity.
Aldi also has other charity initiatives, including providing surplus food from its stores to hundreds of charities across the country.
