A RARE version of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk chocolate bar has appeared on shelves in B&M.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Slices Peanut Caramel bar was spotted for £2.99 in-store.

The chocolate is imported from Australia and is difficult to find in the UK, although social media users say they’ve spotted it in B&M previously.

A shopper shared the lucky find on the Snack Reviews Facebook page.

The 170g bar is made with Dairy Milk chocolate and has a peanut flavoured creme, peanut pieces and a caramel layer.

It’s a popular treat down under as it is inspired by the iconic Australian bakery slices.

One social media user commented: “That looks lush.”

Another said: “I’d love this.”

If you want to find the bar, you’ll either have to keep your eyes peeled in B&M or try online retailers as it’s tough to get hold of in the UK.

There are some bars selling for £4.99 on eBay but you’ll find a better price in B&M.

Alternatively, there is the fairly similar Cadbury Dairy Milk & More Caramel Nut Crunch Bar.

This chocolate has layers of creamy toffee, crunchy chopped hazelnuts and oozing caramel wrapped in a thick, classic Dairy Milk chocolate exterior.

You can find this for £2.75 at Waitrose or £3.30 at Ocado.

B&M regularly stocks Aussie treats – with another recent example being the Cadbury Honeycomb Sundae Twirl bar.

The rare find reappeared in stores this week after last being seen in 2023.

A shopper shared a picture of the chocolate bar on social media, prompting others to comment “This one looks nice!!” and “Oh my days – we need this”.

Other Aussie finds spotted recently include the Cherry Ripe Berry Truffle bars, which were described as “banging” by fans.

Dairy Milk raspberry bars are also among the Aussie treats sometimes stocked by the discount retailer.

Cadbury’s mint-flavoured Twirl has appeared on shelves, too.

More recent finds include the Aussie Treat Box, which is stuffed with a selection of Cadbury and Mars delights, and the Peanut Brownie Snickers bars.

If you fancy trying the treats, remember B&M does not have an online store so you will have to make an in-person visit.

You can find your nearest B&M by visiting the website and using the store finder tool.

How to save money at B&M

If you’re lucky enough to have a B&M near you, here’s some handy tips on how to save.

The B&M scanner app is free to download onto your smartphone via the Apple App Store or Google Play and flags potential bargains.

It allows you to use the camera on your phone to scan product barcodes around the store.

The app will then tell you the true price of that product, which is sometimes much lower than the price tag says it is.

One shopper used the app to get a £10 long hot water bottle for just 10p.

An ex-B&M manager has also revealed that the best time to get discounted products is at 10am on a Wednesday.

Staff can slash items to as little as 10p to clear excess stock and make way for new products.

Plus, deals expert Tom Church says to keep an eye out for red sticker products.

These are added to special-buy products that have been reduced in price.

It’s worth signing up to Facebook pages dedicated to hunting for bargains from B&M and other discounters too.
