UFC 313 delivered another mega night last night as Alex Pereira lost his light-heavyweight title via decision.
On Saturday night, Magomed Ankalaev defeated the beloved Alex Pereira by majority decision to capture the UFC light-heavyweight championship.
According to the judges’ scorecards, Ankalaev prevailed 49-46, 48-47, and 48-47. The Russian even outstruck the legendary kickboxer at UFC 313 and dominated Pereira in the grappling battles.
The Las Vegas mega event also saw Justin Gaethje effectively recovered from his knockout loss at UFC 300 and returned to lightweight championship contention by overwhelming his late-replacement after Fiziev got off to a fast start.
