Premier League Darts clash paused as Nathan Aspinall gives fan death stare before security intervene

PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS was paused deep into the semi-final clash between Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall.

In the seventh leg of the match, the two stars on stage temporarily stopped playing.

Aspinall turned around to the crowd before stopping.

He then stared towards the right side of the crowd.

There appeared to be a commotion near the front of the fan section.

Aspinall, 33, coldly continued looking in the direction of the incident.

It had come moments after Cross hit a nine-darter.

This was the second of the night after Luke Humphries hit the first nine-darter of 2025 Premier League Darts.

Amazingly it was both stars’ first televised nine-darter each.

However, Cross ended up suffering the same fate as the World No1.

Both Voltage and Cool Hand ended up crashing out in the matches they hit their nine-darters.

Ironically it was Cross, 34, who eliminated 30-year-old Humphries, before he himself was knocked out by Aspinall.

Aspinall’s win set up a final with Luke Littler.

Early in the night Sky Sports coverage was hit with a myriad of technical issues.

The broadcaster apologised for the fault, saying: “We’re really sorry for this temporary fault.”

The issues persisted into the second match of the night between Chris Dobey and Littler, with the game going to adverts during the second leg of the clash and marking the third time the error screen came up.
