Love Island star breaks down in tears as she’s rushed to hospital just hours after landing in LA

LOVE Island star Lucinda Strafford rushed to A&E yesterday – just hours after she landed in LA.

The 25-year-old sparked concern as she shared a picture of herself crying and revealed she need urgent medical care as she battled with health anxiety.

She shared: “The reason I was in a&e is because my fricking health anxiety is coming back.

“I had a really upset stomach and chills and other things lol and went into a spiral, started crying and freaked out again.”

The star shared a picture from inside an emergency room in the States and revealed she didn’t have travel insurance – further adding to her woes.

Lucinda, who appeared in Love Island in 2021, also posted a snap of herself in tears and sarcastically wrote: “Love my life.”

It is unclear why Lucinda is in LA but she revealed she had been given a huge bunch of flowers as she arrived.

Fans have rushed to send their get well wishes and ask if she is recovering.

Writing on TikTok, one asked: “What happened? I saw on ur snap you said you were in an accident, praying for you.”

Another added: “Omg are you ok?”

And a third wrote: “Oh gurrrrllllll.”

Lucinda replied but only with four “crying” emojis.

Just hours earlier, Lucinda had filmed herself on a plane as she headed to the US.

She showed fans the view from her window, which was snow-covered mountains.

Lucinda said: “Aren’t we lucky.”

Last month, it was revealed Lucinda had pulled out of this year’s series of Love Island All Stars.

She had flown all the way to South Africa to enter the villa as a bombshell but did a U-turn and headed home.

Fans were perplexed about what made her changed her mind, however they later claimed to work out why.

As the Love Island All Stars Live Final got underway, this year’s five final couples were treated to a DJ set from Lucinda’s ex boyfriend.

2019 – Series 5 saw Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague runners up to winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill, who met in the last few days of the series. STATUS: Broken up.

2018 – It wasn’t surprising fan favourites Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer won the show, as they were strong throughout. But sadly things didn’t last. STATUS: Broken up.

2017 – Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had lots of ups and downs in the villa but went on to win. STATUS: Broken up.

2016Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together from the start of the series, and since they won the show they’ve had two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.

2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.

Nathan Dawe had been flown in to play a set at the islanders’ final night party and viewers are convinced she knew about his upcoming appearance.

Lucinda later got tongues wagging about a new romance after posing with a huge bouquet of pink roses.

The star was standing on a snowy French ski slope while holding her flowers.

She cryptically wrote on TikTok: “A Valentines to remember..”
