BRITAIN’S Got Talent is set for a huge schedule shake-up TONIGHT – as it’s taken off air only weeks into the new series.

Last month, the long-running ITV show returned to screens for its 18th series.

The Six Nations will impact an upcoming episode of BGT

However, viewers hoping to tune in tonight, March 15 will be left out of luck.

Due to Six Nations: France v Scotland airing instead, there will be no BGT on that day.

Coverage of the game begins at 7.15pm on ITV, with the match kicking off at 8pm.

This marks the latest change in a series already experiencing shake-ups to the format.

For example, YouTube star and professional boxer KSI has appeared as a guest judge.

The 31-year-old influencer replaced Bruno Tonioli on some days of the Blackpool auditions.

He previously said: “I’m so excited to be a guest judge for BGT. When I got the call up, I couldn’t believe it.

“I remember watching old BGT episodes and going from being amazed to laughing my a**e off.

“I’m buzzing to see all the fresh new talent, and I’ll be sure to leave a mark.”

A TV insider shared: “KSI is the perfect match for BGT. He’s an entertainer through and through, with a colossal fan base. BGT isn’t just a TV show—it’s a global internet phenomenon, with 25 billion video views worldwide.

“Having someone like KSI on board, whose music alone has been streamed 2.7 billion times, makes perfect sense.”

Other fan favourite judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon also returned to the panel.

Meanwhile, this year’s series launching in February instead of April also marks a huge change.

Weekly episodes will air across four months, making it the longest BGT series to date.

In addition, it was reported that the live semi-finals which are traditionally broadcast across one intense week in May will now be shown on Saturdays.

Lily Wilson, the Commissioning Editor for Entertainment at ITV, previously explained the decision behind the earlier launch.

She said: “We want to hit that family audience.

“Starting in February means we can build excitement over a longer period while making the live semi-finals a much bigger event.”

Britain’s Got Talent airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
