SKY Q customers are set for another big boost to their boxes very soon just days after the launch of a brand new app.
Channel 5 is preparing a major overhaul of its free streaming platform My5 with even more content available to watch.

My5 finally landed on Sky Q boxes in February, meaning all four streaming services from the main UK broadcasters are now available.
But the app is going through a major revamp on March 12 across all devices.
The biggest change will be a new look making it easier to find your favourite programmes, as well as a single unified name for both streaming and the TV channel: 5.
But the firm is planning to boost the shows you can watch with a “significantly expanded content offer”.
5 is owned by US giant Paramount, which also runs MTV, CBS, Comedy Central and more.
The firm says more premium content from across the wider Paramount family spanning reality, drama, factual, films and true crime shows will be added to the new 5 streaming app.
This also includes kids channel Nickelodeon.
And viewers will have the chance to sample some of the biggest hits from Paramount+ too.
The updated app will be rolling out not only to Sky Q, but also other Sky TV devices Sky Glass and Sky Stream.
And it will appear everywhere else too, such as Virgin Media, smart TVs, iOS, Android and more.

My5 has gone through several guises in the past, starting life as Five Download before becoming Demand 5.
The platform grew at its fastest ever rate in 2024, with shock documentary My Wife, My Abuser its number one most watched single title.
Original dramas including All Creatures Great and Small, Blindspot, The Teacher and Ellis have also helped it increase in popularity.
