A FIRED candidate from The Apprentice has admitted they have their eye on signing up to a top dating show after being axed by Lord Sugar after just three episodes.

Axed star Carlo Brancati is hoping to continue his TV career by bagging a spot on the line-up of the next series of E4‘s Celebs Go Dating.

The entrepreneur was booted off the BBC contest and branded “disruptive” by Lord Sugar but the experience hasn’t made him want to shy away from further TV shows.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Carlo confessed he would be keen to find love on TV with his eye firmly on Celebs Go Dating.

The star said: “There are shows that I’d be interested in like Celebs Go Dating.

“I would be up for that one.

“I’d have to think is it going to be beneficial for me.

“I’ve got to make sure that I do maintain credibility and that is the most important thing for me.”

It comes after the star confessed he would be continuing with his business regardless of not getting the investment from the business mogul himself.

He recently told The Sun: “My business is irrelevant of Lord Sugar.

“What I mean by that is I’m not saying Lord Sugar is irrelevant. I’m saying I can’t put my eggs all in one basket to be like, if I don’t get Lord Sugar’s investment then this is not going to be a success.”

Mixing business and TV could be the way forward for Carlo with the news that Celebs Go Dating looks set to undergo a shake-up when filming kicks off in a few weeks.

Yesterday, The Sun exclusively revealed how the iconic abroad trip would be revived for the upcoming series.

An insider said: “The destination has yet to be confirmed, but it looks set to be a holiday destination where all sorts of wild antics take place – and it’s sure to shake things up.

“Of course, how wild things get will depend on exactly what celebs sign up to take part, and that’s yet to be revealed. But fans will just be thrilled that the programme is returning this year.”

Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn will return as the  dating agents, with Tom Read Wilson as the show’s client coordinator.
