A MAJOR UK supermarket has slashed the price of its Roses chocolates and they’re the cheapest around.

Morrisons has dropped the cost of its 550g tub from £5 to £3.50, giving shoppers a 30% discount.

The deal comes despite it being months after Christmas, when retailers often battle it out to offer the best prices on festive chocs.

Bargain hunters can bag themselves the container of cut-price Roses on the Morrisons website but not in stores.

They’ll have to be quick though as the offer expires on March 16. Shoppers can only buy 20 tubs each.

Also bear in mind you’ll need to spend a minimum of £25 to qualify for home delivery, which costs from £1.50.

Morrisons slashing the price of the 550g tubs of Roses makes it the cheapest place to buy them this week.

The only other place we spotted them on sale is Cadbury Gifts where they’re priced at £3.58, down from £7.75.

Bear in mind, we have only checked if the major supermarket chains are selling the tub and how much for. You might find it cheaper elsewhere.

You can use websites like Trolley and Price Spy to compare prices on thousands of products including chocolates.

Or, you can use the Google Shopping/Product tab to see how much retailers are selling a particular product for.

It’s worth keeping an eye out for any upcoming deals on festive chocs specifically too.

Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Iceland have all slashed the price of Celebrations and Quality Street tubs in recent weeks.

Aldi shoppers were also recently rushing out to one branch after spotting cheap Quality Street chocs.

The German discounter was flogging the 300g pouches for 49p down from £1.99 – a 75% discount.

If you’re not after festive-themed chocs, some retailers have already started slashing prices on Easter eggs and Easter-themed chocolates.

Aldi has cut the price of Cadbury Creme Eggs from £2.95 to £1.49 nationwide.

Ocado has also reduced the price of its Ferrero Rocher Easter egg from £4.50 to £3.50.

CADBURY NEWS

Shoppers were recently going wild after spotting Cadbury Top Deck bars on sale for just 69p down from £1.69.

The bar was relaunched by Cadbury last year and sent 1990s fans wild with nostalgia.

News of the sweet deal was posted on the HotUKDeals website where shoppers were clamouring over the price, with one branding the deal a “bargain”.

Cadbury also recently launched a new range of bars based on 12 common scenarios.

Shoppers can snap up the bars based on who does the cooking, books the holidays, and remembers everyone’s birthday.

The chocolatier also confirmed earlier this month that a new chocolate bar featuring pieces of caramelized Biscoff pieces was making its way onto shelves.

Meanwhile, at the back end of 2024, Cadbury was stripped of its royal warrant after 170 years.
