TWO people have been found dead inside a house on a village high street.
The man and woman were discovered on Friday, February 21 at an address in Hirwaun, Wales.



Both deaths remain “unexplained” as officers probe the area.
A statement from South Wales Police reads: “Officers are investigating the unexplained deaths of two adults, a man and a woman, whose bodies were discovered at an address on Hirwaun High Street around 5.45pm on Friday, February 21.
“There is a cordon in place and additional police officers are in the area.
“Next of kin have been informed. Local residents are thanked for their patience while officers carry out their investigations.”
Hirwaun is a village in Rhondda Cynon Taf, situated about four miles from the post town Aberdare.
It is known for the Hirwaun Ironworks, which opened in 1765 and produced iron until 1859.
