BOY George has confirmed he is “working hard” to pay off £1.8million of debt after finding himself wrestling cash arrears.
The Culture Club frontman, 63, has taken on a payment plan to get out of the red and is determined to clear it.

Boy George previously found himself in a legal battle over money with his former bandmate and 80s lover, Culture Club drummer Jonathan Moss.
Thankfully for the star, this has finally been resolved.
As a result, George is now working hard to turn his fortunes around and claw back his own nest-egg.
Boy George has exclusively told The Sun that he is making good headway in clearing his debts – and has shared a valuable lesson.
He tells us: “I’m working hard to pay off my debts and am getting there. My advice is don’t sleep with the drummer!”
A big money spinner coming Boy George’s way is another stint on Broadway.
Last year, the Karma Chameleon vocalist starred in the hit musical Moulin Rogue and sold out three months’ worth of shows.
His run was so successful that stage show bosses have asked him to reprise the role of Harold Zidler, beginning next month.
Culture Club is also hitting the road this year and is touring in Europe in the summer, with dates in the UK, Germany and Denmark.
They have already sold out an arena tour set for April.

Last mont, Boy George and Culture Club were announced as headliners for Tunes in The Park in Cornwall.
The will join Jess Glynne and Craig David at Port Eliot Estate in St Germans between August 21 and 24.
George will also play Uptown Festival in London’s Blackheath in July.
It has been a difficult time for the star, as he has watched several companies he was linked to close in order to consolidate what he owes into one sum.
But as a result, it has made it easier for the 80s singer to meet all his payment plans and he has cooperated fully with the liquidator and the official receiver.
Boy George is currently up-to-date with his payments and, so far, all have been met on time.
He is also banking money from his artwork, which he sells through Castle Fine Art.
The limited-edition pieces are hand-signed, with some pieces having a price-tag of £17,000.
And if that’s not enough to keep him busy, The Sun previously revealed he is secretly working on a new version of his hit musical Taboo.
While insiders said plans were in the very early stages, George’s hope is that the show will return to London’s West End later this year.
The production, which tells the story of George’s life before he found fame, first opened back in 2002 before going on a nationwide tour.
A source said: “It’s currently at the talks stage being worked on behind the scenes but George is really excited about the possibility of Taboo returning to the West End.
“George is also set to release a new physical only album in the coming months as well as his broadway stint in Moulin Rouge.”
