A FAMILY has issued a desperate plea for their mum who has been missing for nearly four days to come home.
Sian Jones, 53, from Rhiwbina in Cardiff, was last seen on February 13.
Cops said her car, a 61-plate black Citroen C3 VTR+, was travelling northbound on the A4119 at Miskin, near junction 34 of the M4, at around 4.40pm on Thursday.
The force described missing Sian as around 5ft 6ins tall.
She was last seen wearing black trousers, a black coat with possibly a brown jumper underneath, black shoes and had a small handbag with her.
Sian’s daughter Emily shared updates on Facebook for members of the public searching for her mum.
She said said that her mother’s phone is turned off.
She wrote: “We are searching all surrounding areas, Llantrisant, Talbot Green, Pontyclun, Tonryfeil, Gilfach Goch, Tonypandy, and will continue searching these areas and today possibly further out.
“She is unlikely to be using main roads as Police would have been updated with this by now.
“If you know these areas or anywhere relevant to Mum, please pass on any info or if you are able to help to look for her, these areas would be best. Thank you.”
“We all she just need her to make contact with us, or come home,” Emily added.
Local Rhiwbina councillor Jayne Cowan said: “Sadly Sian is still missing. Please keep an eye out for her and her car.”
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “Sian Jones, 53, from Rhiwbina in Cardiff, was last seen Thursday, February 13 is still missing.
“It is now known that her car, a 61-plate black Citroen C3 VTR+, was travelling northbound on the A4119 at Miskin, near junction 34 of the M4, at around 4.40pm on Thursday February 13.
“Sian is around 5ft 6ins tall and was last seen wearing black trousers, black coat with possibly a brown jumper underneath, black shoes and had a small handbag with her.
“Anyone who may have seen Sian or her car, or who has information which will help us find her, is asked to contact us quoting occurrence number 2500048377.”
