AN ASDA shopper has revealed a little-known way to find secret discounts including toys that scan for just 2p.
The customer posted a picture of a figurine of Sally from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas that was priced at a remarkable, bargain price of 2p.

Others were amazed at the deal, which the shopper posted to the Bargain Lovers Facebook group.
One said: “2p?! Stock up.”
Another added: ” I never get this lucky.”
A third said: “I NEED TO FIND THIS!!”
Shoppers said the figurine had been listed on Asda’s website for £5, but it has since been removed.
For comparison the Disney store is selling a set of nine The Nightmare Before Christmas figurines for £28.
The shopper found the bargain using an Asda scanner and it’s not the first time it’s turned up amazing deals.
In another instance Asda fans found a £16 twin duvet set that checked out for just 50p.
It’s simple to scan for potential bargains if you shop at Asda.

There’s also a dedicated checkout area for those using handsets so it’s quick and easy to finish your shop.
A number of other retailers have similar scanners that can help you pick up a bargain in-store.
These include the B&M scanner app as well as the scanners available in Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
Remember, just because something is on offer or part of a sale it doesn’t mean that it’s a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison sites that can help you double check a deal is as good as it looks including Google Shopping, Trolley.co.uk and Price Spy.
And remember, a bargain is only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway.
