‘What he’s done is incredible’ – Darts star admits Luke Littler has ‘changed my life’ and hails his impact on the sport

GLEN DURRANT has admitted that Luke Littler has changed his life.

The three-time world champion believes that the success of Littler has shined a new light on darts.

Durrant, 54, has not been in the professional game since 2022 but still plays.

He was a commentator for Sky Sports during the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship.

‘Duzza’ has claimed that Littler, 18, has made an “incredible” impact on the sport.

He even suggested that the teenager’s efforts has changed the lives of not only him but also everyone who works with the sport.

Durrant said in Reach’s 2025 darts preview: “People all want to be Luke Littler now.

“He’s changed my life, and that’s just one example.

“He might have changed your [the media’s] life because more people are looking at darts.

“He might have changed the lives of darts players because he’s putting the sport not just on the back pages but on the front pages too.

“He won Young Sports Personality of the Year [and finished second in the main vote].

“What he’s done for darts is incredible.”

Littler sprung to fame with his run to the final of the 2024 World Championships before he was beaten by Luke Humphries.

However, that was just the start as the Warrington ace went on to win multiple titles throughout the year.

He then went one better in the 2025 edition by beating Michael van Gerwen in the final to become the world champion.

During his stunning breakthrough, he was also named the Young Sports Personality of the Year.
