THE Masked Singer Fans are convinced they’ve “worked out” a Hollywood heart-throb is behind Wolf’s furry face.
It comes after eagle-eyed ITV viewers called out a connection between a series of telling clues.

Wolf, who is now in The Masked Singer‘s final instalment, has sung renditions of Let’s Dance by David Bowie, Copacabana (At the Copa) by Barry Manilow, The Candy Man by Sammy Davis Jr and Birds Of A Feather by Billie Eilish.
Some of the clues revealed in the VT packages have included references to being a lone Wolf, reminiscing about the good old days with the gang, and having a very long career that involved joining forces.
The items in their VT included colourful umbrellas, wool, a book of bedtime stories, a spy glass and a map of Egypt.
Now fans reckon Hugh Grant, 64, is the silver-furred character amid the British actor’s cameo in the new Bridget Jones movie as the caddish Daniel Cleaver.
He is no stranger to singing, either, after showing off his vocal talents in movie Music and Lyrics with Drew Barrymore.
One fan took to X to write: “Wolf – Hugh Grant.”
A second put: “Wolf Hugh Grant maybe.”
One Reddit fan took time to theorise the teasers and wrote: “Wolf: Candy Man -> Willy Wonka -> Wonka -> Hugh Grant -> Four Weddings and a Funeral -> “I feel it in my fingers…”
Wolf has reached the final of the programme’s 2025 instalment alongside Dressed Crab and Pufferfish.

British acting legend Nigel Havers is another name in the frame.
Meanwhile, another bunch of fans of the hit reality show are convinced Wolf is Marti Pellow.
Taking to Reddit, one viewer pointed out: “They showed a photo of someone’s eyes, I know whose those eyes were and it ties in with my guess.
“The eyes are David Boreanaz, from Angel. Angel eyes was a song by Wet Wet Wet and Wolf is… Marti Pellow.”
A second penned: “It’s definitely Marti Pellow.”

Pufferfish – This year’s winner had flawless vocals throughout the competition. West End powerhouse Samantha Barks told the audience she’d loved every second of the series.
Dressed Crab – Former American football player turned jazz singer Gregory Porter was the man behind the crustacean. He duetted with Keala Settle, who previously competed as Air Fryer, in the final.
Wolf – Wet Wet Wet heartthrob Marti Pellow was unmasked as the rugged character. McFly’s Danny Jones, who won last year’s show as Piranha, was on the panel in the final and paid his respects to the Scottish crooner.
Bush – she didn’t fool viewers and the judges were so close, but Bush was in fact EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy. Davina McCall came closest, guessing Morgana Robinson, who does a mean impression of the Sonia actress
Bear – another success for new judge Maya Jama as she guessed correctly that the singing Bear was none other than singer, songwriter Example – real name Elliot Gleave.
Snail – this singer certainly fooled the judges as the mask was lifted to reveal Andrea Corr. Jonathan Ross admitted to being a huge fan of The Corrs.
Kingfisher – everyone was convinced this was Harry Hill, but the mask was lifted to reveal artist Sir Grayson Perry, who is known for his alter-ego Claire.
Teeth – this character baffled judges and viewers with their changing voice. They were finally unmasked as former Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc. None of the panel managed to guess it was her.
Tattoo – despite Davina McCall saying “you sound the same” after this character was unmasked, none of the judges guessed it was 80s singer Carol Decker, whose hit China In Your Hand was a No1 hit for five weeks.
Toad In The Hole – a massive diva strop saw the character storm off the stage after the judges voted them off. They later returned to be unmasked as singer Macy Gray.
Pegasus – the mythical horse was revealed to be Prue Leith, with judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessing her identity.
Spag Bol – this character was first to be unmasked and was none other than Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway.
Plus there was one extra unmasking this season, with Giant Joel – a caricature of host Joel Dommett – unveiled as double-double Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah.
In week 4, Wolf took to the stage to perform The Candy Man, with it also revealed that all the songs performed were clues.
Viewers were quick to share their thoughts on how they reckoned the hit was a nod to Wet, Wet, Wet’s song Sweet Little Mystery.
