FURIOUS Dancing On Ice fans have slammed show judges for the “unfair” outcome of the skate off – suggesting one star was “robbed.”

They took to social media to express their fury, admitting they were “so disappointed” and branding his eviction “ridiculous.”

Show favourite Chris Taylor became the fourth celebrity to leave the ITV reality series on Sunday.

It came after a tense skate-off with former footballer Anton Ferdinand – who was tipped to leave ahead of their routines.

Now viewers have called out a huge problem with Love Island alum Chris’ routine with pro partner Robin Johnstone for which they scored 32 points, claiming he should never have been in the skate off.

The called out how he was given a slower song, so should not have been penalised for a slower skate.

They also suggested other contestants wobbles were overlooked but not his.

One DOI fan took to X to put: “I’m so annoyed. They were amazing and so underscored to begin with. Their performance was stunning
So disappointed Chris has gone.

“I really enjoyed this routine and his skating has improved so much. Is it just me or does this season seem so flat, each skater doesn’t seem to be out there performing for long and the routines seem shorter there’s just no no oompfh like previous seasons.

And I don’t even know why Holly bothers asking anyone a question when she cuts them off mid answering!”

Another posted: “Of course Chris skated slower than Anton… you gave him a slower song?? There’s no way Chris should have gone when his skating flowed so much smoother??”

A third bluntly put: “Absolutely ridiculous – other wobbles were overlooked tonight and there were a few (which is the way it goes) – so why not Chris’s – feel for Chris – did so well tonight – but well done Anton and Chris should be proud – beautiful skate.”

Speaking about the result, former Dancing On Ice winner James Jordan also told SkyVegas: “I would have preferred Chris to stay in the competition, I feel that he’s got more to offer long term.

“I don’t feel that suddenly Anton is going to come out of his shell and create amazing performances. I felt that some of the tricks that he was doing, they were thinking outside the box.

“I was shocked to see him in the bottom two, which, to be fair, is a good thing, because normally the females are in the bottom two. “

The comments kept flowing thick and fast as another put: “Absolute joke that he went his routine was one of the best and got rid of him, it’s 100% fixed this year. Not interested watching after this.”

One then pledged: “I’m not even going to watch it anymore. Disastrous season. A total farce.

“It’s no wonder the show is at the bottom of the barrel and hardly watched or commented on. They sabotaged Chris from the start.

“He did some of the hardest moves, was one of the best skaters on the show and was constantly underscored.

“While others who didn’t do half of what he did received grades of 8.5 and 9.0. And even though he was much better than Anton, he was eliminated. Ridiculous.”

Asked how he felt to leave by host Holly Willoughby, Chris then joked:  “To be honest, I shouldn’t have feng-shuied my caravan today!”

SHOCK RESULT

The first couple that were safe were Charlie Brooks and Brendyn Hatfield, who has stepped in to cover after the soap star’s partner Eric Radford was injured and had to miss a week.

Next to learn they were safe were Dan Edgar and Vanessa James, who got top scores after bravely trying the headbanger.

Joining them were Michaela Strachan and Mark Hanretty, as well as Corrie favourite Sam Aston and Molly Lanaghan.

The final couple going straight through were Traitors star Mollie Pearce and Colin Grafton

That left Anton Ferdinand and Chris to fight for their lives in the skate off, alongside their pro partners Annette Dytrt and Robin Johnstone.

Then it came down to the judges to decide who got sent packing.

Ashley Banjo chose to save Anton and Annette, with Oti Mabuse agreeing.

Christopher Dean also saved Anton and Annette, sealing Chris’s fate.

Being axed topped off a rough couple of weeks for Chris.

He was forced to change partners on the show when pro skater Vanessa Bauer was forced to quit after sustaining an injury.

He was then paired with Robin at the last minute, with the pair skating together for the first time on last week’s show.

They had just 24 hours before that live show to train together.

Dancing on Ice airs next Sunday at 6.25pm on ITV1.
