But if you’re a fan of teaming an ensemble with a Cath Kidston bag, you’re probably going to give off a “middle aged” vibe, according to one fashion influencer.
Style queen and model Nerys took to her TikTok page to share a video detailing her opinion on the three bag brands that make you look older than you are, with the “worst one” being Cath Kidston.
“If you’ve got a Cath Kidston bag, I’m assuming – and this is only me – I’m assuming you’ve got a sewing box at home as well,” Nerys said.
“You’ve got a sewing box with all your little bits and bobs and buttons and things in.
“That’s the type of person that I think wears Cath Kidston.”
“Just my opinion,” she hastily concluded.
Nerys pleaded with people not to “come at” her as she went on to reveal the other two bags she reckons are a style crime, kicking off with Kipling.
“Nylon Kipling bags – they’re horrible!” she sighed.
“If you use a Kipling bag, I’m assuming you’ve got walking sandals and cropped trousers as well – that’s how bad I think about Kipling!”
The other brand Nerys thinks makes women look older than they actually are is Radley.
“Now, I know people love a bit of Radley,” she began.
